As the business continues to grow, it is seeking a qualified and skilled Chef to join its kitchen team. The Chef will play a vital role in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high‑quality dishes. This role requires strong culinary expertise, the ability to manage kitchen operations, and a focus on consistency, food safety, and teamwork. Key Duties Responsibilities Preparing, cooking, and presenting high‑quality dishes according to established standards Overseeing day‑to‑day kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and smooth service Monitoring food quality, freshness, and portion control across all menu items Managing kitchen staff, including scheduling, delegating tasks, and providing training Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met Coordinating daily preparation tasks, including mise en place, sauces, marinades, and other house‑made components Managing stock levels, monitoring inventory, and placing orders with suppliers Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and proper equipment handling within the kitchen Collaborating with management on seasonal updates and special offerings Catering to guest dietary needs and special requests where required Skills Experience Required Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen operations, and quality control Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
