Job Title: Car Salesperson / Yard Hand Location: Rocklea Employment Type: Full-time Posted 15 days ago About the Role We are seeking a motivated and reliable Car Salesperson / Yard Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage both sales and general yard duties. This role involves assisting customers throughout the car-buying process, maintaining the presentation of the car yard, and ensuring all vehicles and listings are accurately displayed both online and on-site. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers visiting the yard. Provide detailed information about vehicles, features, pricing, and finance options. Negotiate sales and complete contracts and paperwork accurately. Conduct test drives and ensure all compliance and safety procedures are followed. Online Listings & Marketing Take and upload high-quality photos of vehicles for online listings. Write accurate and appealing car advertisements for websites and social media. Update online listings to ensure current stock and correct details. Yard & Vehicle Management Reorder and reposition vehicles in the yard for best presentation. Keep vehicles clean, well-presented, and ready for inspection. Check in new stock and prepare vehicles for display. Maintain yard tidiness and assist with general site upkeep. Administration Prepare sales contracts, transfer paperwork, and ensure compliance with dealership and government requirements. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle sales. Assist management with stock control and reporting when needed. Skills & Experience Previous experience in car sales or customer service preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good computer literacy (for online listings, CRM, and paperwork). A valid driver’s licence (manual preferred). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
