WaterNSW – Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Fleet Lead Full Time, Permanent Responsibilities Establish and maintain end-to-end fleet, plant, and equipment lifecycle management processes, including asset planning, procurement, inventory/spares management, and disposal. Drive operational efficiency and transformation by developing and implementing streamlined processes, procedures and policies that enhance asset utilisation, reduce downtime and improve cost effectiveness. Lead the design and implementation of technical specifications, operational readiness plans and acceptance testing criteria to ensure equipment and service providers meet safety, performance and compliance standards. Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable and fit‑for‑purpose services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Leverage data and KPIs to analyse asset performance, identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions that optimise costs, extend asset life and enhance service delivery. Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements related to fleet and logistics, embedding best practice governance across all operations. Lead technology‑driven transformation initiatives in fleet and logistics management to modernise systems, improve safety and deliver long‑term value through innovative procurement and contract strategies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fleet, plant or logistics management. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and safety and regulatory requirements related to fleet, logistics and asset management. Experience using enterprise asset management and finance information systems. Strong communication, writing, stakeholder‑relationship, negotiation and time‑management skills. Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in fleet, plant or logistics. Current NSW driver’s licence.
