With over 5,000 staff and volunteers, Y Victoria delivers services at more than 150 locations every day, including: Children's Programs, Action Sports, Camps, Recreation and Youth Services About the opportunity Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Holy Rosary Primary School . This is a permanent part-time position (17 hours per week) with working hours from 7.00 AM - 9.00 AM (Monday to Friday) and 2.30 PM - 6.00 PM (Thursday and Friday) , with ample administration time. The hourly rate for the position is $35 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $41 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super. OSHC Coordinators are responsible for: Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program; Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities; Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners; Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program What’s in it for me? You'll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below) You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent) You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check - employee check You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare.
