Warehouse Operations Manager About the Role As the Warehouse Operations Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of Aurum’s journey. You’ll oversee all warehouse and distribution operations; this role focuses heavily on improvement. You will lead the rollout of a new RF‑scanning and WMS system, and drive improvements across inventory control, efficiency, and team capability. This is an opportunity to step into a business with strong foundations and help modernise and elevate its warehouse function. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely fulfilment of customer orders. Oversee the implementation of a new WMS and RF scanning system, driving system adoption and process improvement. Review and overhaul inventory management practices to improve accuracy and reduce stock variances. Develop and mentor the warehouse team, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with production, planning, and customer service teams to streamline workflows and improve overall site performance. Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and WHS standards. Identify and execute initiatives that drive operational excellence and support Aurum’s broader growth strategy. About You Proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations within food or FMCG manufacturing. Strong leadership skills with a hands‑on, collaborative approach to developing people and processes. Experience implementing or improving warehouse systems (RF scanning, ERP or similar). Solid understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, and distribution efficiency. Practical, proactive, and solutions‑focused, with the confidence to lead change and build capability.
