Associate Head of Campus - St Mary's Flexible School Join to apply for the Associate Head of Campus - St Mary's Flexible School role at Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Schools Ltd ABOUT THE ORGANISATION Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Ltd currently educates over 2,400 young people in 21 Flexible Learning Schools and two Special Education Services Schools. Flexi schools serve young people who experience complex educational, social or psychological situations and use trauma‑informed practice to create a Common Ground and operate on principles of Honesty, Respect, Participation and Safe & Legal. ABOUT THE ROLE This position provides leadership support across St Mary’s Flexible School in close cooperation with the Head of Campus, the Area Principal and the Regional Support Team. The successful applicant should be a self‑directed, curious, engaging and open‑minded learner who demonstrates strong positive relationships with the Area Principal, Leader of Learning, Head of Campus, NSW regional support team, young people, parents and carers, community members, Edmund Rice Education Australia and NSW teaching and social work organisations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Hold tertiary qualifications in Teaching with eligibility for NSW teacher registration or tertiary qualifications in Social/Behavioural Sciences (e.g., Social Work, Community Services or Psychology) and a current open driver’s licence. Demonstrate a commitment to the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia, building just communities based on Inclusive Community, Gospel Spirituality, Justice and Solidarity and Liberating Education. Lead development and maintenance of programs for young people at risk, engaging staff in reflective practice to enhance learning for disenfranchised young people. Provide leadership in trauma‑transformative practice and wellbeing support, building learner identity and positive social outcomes. Develop and implement a range of learning choices and assessments that meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of young people at risk. Lead a multi‑disciplinary community around four principles of operation: Respect, Safe and Legal, Honesty and Participation.
