You will be reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and responsible for performing duties associated with the management of property and procurement across the organisation.We maintain a portfolio of leasehold properties across Australia and New Zealand with an office presence in each capital city. The role is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the properties from maintenance program implementation to managing the Annual Capital Expenditure Budget and works program. The role is also responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Institute's best practise procurement policy across the organisation.AccountabilityPropertyDevelop and manage Annual Property Operating BudgetDevelop and manage Annual Capital Expenditure Budget and works programManage all contractors for property related operational requirements across the portfolio i.e. cleaning, utilities, security, essential services, air conditioning, repair and maintenance, emergency response etcDevelop and implement an annual maintenance schedule for all properties owned and leasedProject Manage office fit outs, relocation, Cap Ex upgrades and refurbishments (sourcing quotes/budgeting/forecasting/reporting/managing suppliers/liaising with stakeholders)Premises leased from third-party landlords: Identifying and recommending potential office premises and lease negotiations with owners/agentsPremises leased to third-party tenants: Sourcing potential tenants and lease negotiations with tenantsInform and support the annual insurances renewal process and any requirements related to claimsRisk management in relation to property portfolio, including premises-related WHS compliance and reporting on risk and complianceProcurementImplement best practise procurement policy and systems across The Adecco GroupDevelop and implement effective procurement processes and procedures to ensure that the needs of the business are managed in accordance with the company's governance framework.Manage the development and implementation of category management strategies to optimise procurement spendEstablish and maintain an register of all current and future contracts entered by the company i.e Technology, Fleet etc.Periodical identification and prioritisation of procurement types and relationships where results can be improved (quality/quantity/cost)Hands on procurement activities for material projects and functions not specifically delegated to specialist Managers (Finance, Legal, IT and HR functions)Conduct periodical assessments of material supplier relationships, focusing on probity, compliance and value for money achievedProfileTo be successful in this role you will have:Relevant tertiary qualification with experience at a senior management level within an organisation.Substantial experience successfully leading the strategy development and operational delivery of property, procurement and contract management. This will include a strong understanding and experience in the application of short term and long-term property management strategies.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in the development and management of capital expenditure and operational budgets including cost control.Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills and applying these to property leases and contractor negotiations.Strong understanding of relevant legislative obligations and Australian Standards relating to property and procurement, including relevant Codes of Practice, and Work Health and Safety legislation.Demonstrated experience in organising and prioritising tasks, working effectively under pressure, problem solving and meeting deadlines.Knowledge of project management methodology to plan, implement and evaluate improvements and projects.Job OfferHow to applyTo find out more about this exciting opportunity and have a confidential discussion, please email directly at .To submit your application please APPLY NOWReport this job advert
