Your next opportunity Due to continued growth across our business, we now have a great opportunity available for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team in Cairns. Primary responsibility Your primary responsibility in this role will be to manage and carry out repairs and maintenance of our Portsmith Asphalt Plant. This role will require you to be available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends and be available to travel to various Asphalt plants across the Northern QLD region to support operational requirements. Day to day activities Working independently, consulting with Asset and Production teams on prioritisation of tasks Ensuring that the manufacturing plant complies with relevant safety standards Maintaining equipment to the highest possible standard for operational purposes and to allow the business to meet objectives Completing programmed maintenance tasks Ensuring all relevant permits and safety paperwork is in place before commencement of tasks Contractor & labour supervision onsite Completing daily plant inspections Monitoring plant equipment for any defects Available to participate in plant shutdown programs What are we looking for?
