Village Days Brewing Co. – Gladesville NSW Are you a passionate hospitality pro looking to join a rapidly growing craft brewery? Village Days Brewing Co. is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support the smooth running of our vibrant brewpub in Gladesville. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours (ideally 20-25 per week) and the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, community-focused environment. You will be joining a small, tightly knit team at one of the area's most vibrant venues - winner of the Local Business Awards' "Outstanding hotel/bar/bottle shop" for 2025. What you'll be doing Assisting the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of the brewpub, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service Taking charge of opening and closing procedures Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere in the venue Developing a deep knowledge of the brewery's beer selection and other beverage offerings Ensuring compliance with all relevant liquor licensing regulations What we're looking for Relevant experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of bar operations and customer service Passion for craft beer and a keen interest in the brewing process and industry trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail A flexible and adaptable approach, with the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate What we offer At Village Days Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
