As we enter an exciting strategic growth phase, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. What you’ll be doing Reporting directly to the Board, the COO will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, enhancing service quality, building workforce capability, and improving overall organisational performance. Key areas of focus include: Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations and translate strategic plans into measurable outcomes, working closely with the General Manager and other leaders. Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust policies, risk management, and adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements. Growth, Innovation & Promotion: Drive innovation, partnerships, and represent Gratis Home Care across the sector. Service Delivery & Workforce Leadership: Lead and support teams to deliver safe, person‑centred, and high‑quality services, while supporting the General Manager in managing daily operations and care delivery. Financial & Resource Management: Manage budgets, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth. Quality, Risk & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and excellence. What we’re looking for Extensive experience (7+ years) in a senior operational leadership role, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering measurable improvements Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to think strategically Strong people management and leadership skills, with a focus on developing and motivating teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Thorough understanding of industry regulations, compliance, and best practices Proficiency in data analysis and the use of technology to drive operational efficiency What we offer At Gratis Home Care, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
