Position Overview As a Security Control Room Operator, you will play a critical role in the coordination and monitoring of site operations. You will be responsible for managing communications, responding to incidents, and ensuring the smooth functioning of cleaning and security services across designated sites. This is a full‑time position operating on a rotating fortnightly roster, with weekend required. Flexibility is essential to accommodate operational needs. Roster Week 1: Monday to Wednesday, 18:00 – 06:00 Week 2: Monday to Tuesday, 18:00 – 06:00 and Saturday to Sunday, 18:00 – 06:00 Key Responsibilities Monitor CCTV systems and site activity to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate cleaning and security teams across multiple locations Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests in real time Maintain accurate logs and incident reports Communicate with site supervisors, clients, and emergency services as needed Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols Support rostering, shift coverage, and workforce coordination Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in a control room or operations coordination role (preferred) Strong communication and multitasking skills Experience in a retail security environment (highly regulated) or Westfield Security experience Familiarity with CCTV, radio, and dispatch systems Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to incidents Basic computer literacy and report writing skills Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays Security license or relevant certifications may be required depending on the site Why Join Millennium?
