About the opportunity Based in Miles, QLD and working a 2:1 DIDO roster, Altrad are seeking multiple E&I Project Engineers (experienced and senior-level roles available) to join our recently awarded Gas Infrastructure construction project. This opportunity plays a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards of work to facilitate successful execution of the project. You’ll work alongside a highly capable team, contributing to projects that shape industries, support communities, and create lasting value for our clients. In this role, you will: Lead and support all technical and engineering activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and project procedures. Manage subcontractors effectively, including scope development, planning, procurement coordination and oversight of field electrical construction through to completion. Dive high‑quality project planning and reporting, contributing to schedule development, forward planning and proactive mitigation of delays. Oversee quality assurance and documentation control, including MDRs, work packs, ITPs/ITRs, Technical Queries, RFIs and Management of Change processes. Collaborate closely with construction supervisors, demonstrate HSEQ culture and requirements and undertake training and additional project duties as required. About you You’re a proactive, collaborative, and results‑driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with 8+ years of experience in a similar engineering or construction‑focused role. Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a process‑driven approach and strong task focus. Strong background across Electrical Oil and Gas standards, gas facility construction, HA electrical installations, instrumentation and electrical testing. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF editors and standard project software. Ability to pass a project specific pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
