Intermediate Accountant – Growing CPA & Advisory Practice We are a rapidly growing CPA accounting firm with a strong focus on small business advisory, tax compliance and modern, technology-driven practices. We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team and grow with us as we expand our services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, communicates confidently and is ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS independently Prepare business financial reports and small business tax returns Prepare individual tax returns when required Assist with tax planning, workflow improvements and client advisory tasks Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders Maintain accurate working papers and deliver work with a high attention to detail Work with the team to adopt new technology and improve efficiency Support senior accountants and contribute to the firm’s continuous improvement What We Are Looking For A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related discipline At least three years of accounting experience, including one to two years in an Australian public practice Strong understanding of BAS/IAS, GST and small business accounting principles Excellent English communication skills Ability to read and write Chinese is highly regarded Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in communicating with clients Willingness to learn new software and adopt modern, technology-focused workflows A positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and commitment to professional growth Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive team Interest in developing broader advisory skills as the firm continues to expand What We Offer A supportive and modern working environment Opportunities for long-term career development as the firm grows Exposure to a wide range of clients and advisory work Training and support to further develop both technical skills and communication skills If you are looking for a long‑term role where you can learn, grow and contribute to a dynamic and ambitious firm, we would love to hear from you.
