System Lead - Learning and Teaching (Secondary) Salary Range: $ 153,472- $ 172,733 per annum + Superannuation (pending experience) As System Lead - Learning and Teaching (Secondary), you’ll be the key driver of high-quality learning and teaching across our secondary schools. You’ll provide expert, evidence-informed advice to school leaders, Curriculum Leads, teaching staff and internal directorates on curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, data literacy and professional learning - shaping how teaching is designed, delivered and continually improved across the Diocese. Working in close partnership with schools, you’ll identify strengths, challenges and emerging needs, translating these into practical guidance, tailored initiatives and resources that lift teacher capability and strengthen student outcomes. You’ll lead professional learning that aligns curriculum, assessment and pedagogy, and develop system-wide approaches that enhance literacy, numeracy and data-informed practice. Your expertise will also support TCE’s response to state and national policies, ensuring our secondary schools remain confident, compliant and future-focused. You’ll bring extensive secondary teaching and leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead learning, influence practice and drive improvement at both school and system level. Organised, relational and forward-thinking, you’ll navigate complex educational environments with clarity and care, fostering strong partnerships and building professional cultures grounded in collaboration, high expectations and the mission of Catholic education. The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Education, be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, maintain a current paid Blue Card, and be able to travel across the Diocese as required. Postgraduate qualifications and experience leading curriculum, pedagogy or professional learning in secondary schooling will be highly regarded.
