About the role: Work in a passionate multi-disciplinary team, providing intake, assessment, brief interventions, and referrals to support youth mental health. Passionate about youth mental health Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration Skilled in assessment, intervention and referrals Understanding and experience using clinical resources and community service networks Experience in psychological practice in Child, Adolescent and Family clinical services Well-developed knowledge of diverse cultures and community needs Tertiary degree qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Occupational Therapy Current Drivers Licence A demonstrated understanding of mental health issues affecting young people and their families and carers; best practice treatment options; support services; and co-morbidities Demonstrated skills and understanding in working with young people experiencing mental health issues and their families to assess strengths and needs, develop treatment plans collaboratively, and support young people to engage in services at difficult times in their lives The successful applicant will possess or have willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, First aid & CPR certificate, and undertake a pre-employment functional medical.
