We are looking for motivated individuals in their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of Electrical or Mechanical Trades apprenticeships to join our team, with positions commencing in January 2026 . Currently, we have exciting opportunities for: Apprentice Service Electricians Apprentice Construction Mechanical Fitters, Adjusters, and Installers About the role Our apprentices are trained in the Installation, Modernization, Service, and Repairing of Lifts, Escalators, and Travelators. You will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to completing the installation, modernization, repairs, and maintenance of escalators, elevators, and travelators. You will gain maximum exposure to the business by rotating between the Service and Construction businesses throughout the life of your apprenticeship, learning the roles of a lift electrician and mechanic. As an Apprentice at Electra, here’s what you will need Hold Electrical and Mechanical apprenticeships or completion of relevant pre-apprentice qualifications. Have a minimum of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent. Must be a permanent resident, citizen, or relevant visa holder with full working rights in Australia. Be a self-starter with a strong passion for innovation and a willingness to learn. Having previous experience in the elevator industry will be an added advantage. Keen interest in developing a long-term career within the elevator industry.
