About the role The Court Services Manager plays a vital leadership role within the local court structure. Reporting to the Senior Registrar, this position oversees a multidisciplinary team that provides tailored support to individuals with complex needs or specific requirements who are engaged with the court. Working closely with Judicial Officers and local court leadership, the Court Services Manager ensures the effective and responsive delivery of therapeutic and culturally safe court support services. With deep expertise in therapeutic service provision, the Manager brings a strong understanding of case management practices, family violence support for both applicants and respondents, and the use of risk and needs assessment tools. The role also involves providing authoritative advice to the court, leading stakeholder engagement, and ensuring culturally safe practices for First Nations staff and court users. You bring: A tertiary qualification in law, psychology, social work, health, or a related field, or significant experience in a similar role. Proven experience leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of solution-focused courts and therapeutic program delivery within the justice system. Understanding of both victim and perpetrator interventions. Familiarity with tools and processes used to assess risk and need, and the ability to formulate effective case management plans and support strategies.
