Airport Manager – Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA (Relocation up to $10,000) Join the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder as the Airport Manager for Kalgoorlie–Boulder Airport. This full‑time executive role manages all safe, compliant and efficient airport operations and aligns them with local government priorities. Pay & Benefits Competitive, performance‑based contract starting from A$170,000 per annum (plus super). Develop, maintain and implement emergency and security plans to meet aviation regulations. Lead aerodrome technical inspections and monitor compliance. Identify and pursue commercial and business development opportunities. Contribute to future terminal and airside infrastructure planning. Engage key stakeholders and contribute to airport‑related projects. Oversee security screening of passengers and baggage. Prepare and manage airport‑related budgets and reporting data. Lead staff with a strong focus on safety, compliance and performance. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications in aviation operations or substantial experience managing a major regional or capital city airport. Demonstrable experience in local government or a similar public sector environment. Eligibility for an Australia‑wide AusCheck ASIC and current National Police Clearance. Preferred certificates: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Reporting Officer/Works Safety Officer. Stakeholder engagement, team leadership, financial management and reporting expertise. Familiarity with infrastructure planning, project delivery and airline liaison.
