We are partnered with a well-known national brand for the recruitment of a Senior Construction & Project Planner, to work on a brownfields construction expansion project. This is a contract role on a long-term project, starting asap. You'll work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, down at this company's Kwinana site. In this role, you'll be responsible for Project Planning engineering design, execution, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the Project. The role will be required to interface with the engineering contractor, as part of the 'owner's team'. About the role The role will be required to interface closely with engineering and construction contractors, as the owner's Construction Planner. The role will be responsible for developing detailed construction schedules, planning logic, and work pack logic to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. The role will collaborate with project planners, shutdown planners, and other stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the project schedule and track progress. The role will also assist planning requirements in the wider portfolio of projects across multiple operating areas. You'll ideally have the following skills and experience A strong focus on safety and safe work practices Extensive experience in project planning, providing crucial support for capital project planning, governance and decision-making processes. Extensive experience with Primavera P6 Professional, and EPCM environment in brownfield chemicals and / or oil and gas setting. Engineering qualification or other formal qualifications in the construction planning field. Prior to commencing, you'll need to provide a current police clearance and pass a D&A test – but we can talk you through that process.
