Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Linux We're partnering with a leading global market maker that powers some of the most sophisticated trading strategies across APAC and beyond. What you'll be doing Designing and managing a large fleet of bare-metal Linux servers across multiple data centres Driving improvements to system reliability, scalability and performance in a high-pressure trading landscape Owning low-level Linux tuning (CPU affinity, NUMA, HugePages, IRQ, kernel optimisation) Bridging hardware/network/software boundaries to get everything talking at peak speed Automating builds, deployments and ops workflows with Python + IaC (Ansible/Terraform) Monitoring and resolving issues using modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager) Contributing to new tech solutions that push the limits of speed and stability Being part of a follow-the-sun rotation supporting global trading operations What you bring Strong Linux engineering/architecture and administration background in high-performance environments Comfortable analysing networks and packets (TCP/IP, DNS, multicast etc.) Hands‑on with tools like eBPF, tcpdump, strace, lsof, ntp/ptp Confidence tuning hardware + kernel settings for latency reduction Experience with Linux security hardening and SAN storage Solid automation skills in Python, plus Git and CI/CD know-how Curiosity, collaboration, and the drive to continually optimise how things run What's in it for you Market‑leading bonus structure and industry‑defining tech environment Smart colleagues, zero ego, and lots of ownership Personal development programs and structured learning Daily catered meals, gym membership, and well‑being perks Major company‑wide social events and APAC exposure Relocation and visa support available for the right person If you would like to work for one of the most sought after tech companies in Australia, please apply within or contact David on david.bolton(at)aurec.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
