We are the largest supplier of optical communication components and subsystems in the world. Finisar Australia is seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Sydney. Key responsibilities Perform visual inspection of the finish goods and incoming parts according to the work instruction / procedure Create Product Non-conformance Report (PNR) when defects found Fill out QC daily log timely and correctly Fill out inspection record (Form) correctly Keep working area clean and organised Learn to inspect new failure mode / customer reported issue Contribute idea / advice on outgoing quality improvement based on experience / knowledge Feedback manufacturing quality issue to production line timely Work with warehouse and planning closely to arrange OQC job priority Work with product develop team closely to understand the requirement and feedback product issue when there is new product launch Other quality control tasks assigned by quality manager Necessary Skills and Experience Good knowledge of PCBA inspection. Able to use microscope to inspect tiny parts. Capability of reading mechanical drawing and work instruction Pay attention to details, be self-discipline and focused on work. Good computer literacy, skilled in excel and word. Min 1 years’ experience in inspection, or related quality role in a high technology manufacturing organisation operating under ISO standards. Good cooperation and communication skills with team leader experience Knowledgeable on ESD, 5S, ISO requirement Desirable Skills and Experience Familiarity as a user with Manufacturing Execution System(s) is preferred.
