Senior/Principal Software Developer | C#, .Net, React, AWS Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Contract: 12 Month Initial Contract (Perm Opportunities) – Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in office. In Australia, the product suite is widely adopted by top agencies and is designed to meet local market demands across sales, property management, client relations, and analytics. The Role Reporting to the Squad Lead, you’ll be a key contributor in building a new global consumer portal for the UK and Australian markets. This is a true greenfield project using .NET C# and React, where you’ll translate product requirements into technical solutions while contributing hands‑on across development, documentation, testing and deployment. The work involves building a consumer‑facing portal for tenants and lenders. You will take existing applications in this space and build a brand‑new front‑end solution on top of an existing backend API gateway in .Net. You’ll also be responsible for localising the application and preparing it for deployment into the UK market using AWS. You will join a large project team that operates in a transactional environment and consists of a product owner, designer, QA, two local development squads, and an additional development squad based in the UK. This is a true greenfield project, offering the opportunity to redefine ways of working and incorporate insights from the AI engineering squad and the infrastructure team. This role would suit someone at Lead/Principal Level who knows how to develop technical solutions and scale large projects with high traffic. Responsibilities Translate product requirements into technical solutions using .NET C# and React. Develop and maintain consumer‑facing portal for tenants and lenders. Integrate front‑end with existing .NET API gateway backend. Localise application for UK market and prepare for deployment on AWS. Collaborate with product owner, designer, QA and local/UK squads in a transactional environment. Contribute across development, documentation, testing, and deployment stages. Incorporate insights from AI engineering squad and infrastructure team to improve the product. Skills 7+ years commercial experience with C# .NET. 7+ years commercial experience with modern front‑end frameworks (React preferred; Vue.js, Blazor, or similar also considered). Experience delivering UX/UI with accessibility‑first principles. Solid understanding of SOLID principles and modern software design practices. Strong understanding of Web APIs and REST best practices. Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and GitHub. Experience with Elasticsearch or similar. Experience in B2B or CRM software development. Background in industries such as real estate, energy, or utilities.
