At Georges River Council , we’re building a more connected, sustainable and vibrant community. As Manager Assets and Traffic , you’ll lead a dedicated team responsible for the strategic management of Council’s asset portfolio — including roads/ transport, open space, stormwater drainage and buildings — ensuring assets are planned, maintained and developed in a financially sustainable way. You’ll oversee the delivery of Council’s Asset Management Framework, Strategic Asset Management Plan and capital works programs, while driving innovation, proactive planning and cross-Council collaboration. This is a key leadership role shaping the city’s transport planning, traffic management and long-term infrastructure sustainability. What We Offer Total Remuneration Package: $207,497 – $238,281 per annum Inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation, and a $10,780 vehicle allowance. Long service leave after 5 years. Based at the Civic Centre in Hurstville CBD. What We Are Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field. Proven leadership in asset management or infrastructure strategy . Strong experience in budgeting, planning and project delivery . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
