About this opportunity: As a Senior Development Engineer, you will: Lead the design, assessment, and construction of civil infrastructure projects. Provide expert advice and negotiate with developers and stakeholders. Mentor and guide engineering and technical staff. Contribute to the review and implementation of Council's Planning Scheme and policies. Ensure timely processing of complex development applications in line with legislation and service standards. Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent. Strong problem-solving, time management, and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication. Commitment to continuous learning, with support to achieve RPEQ registration. Why work for Mackay Regional Council?
