About the Role We are seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join their growing Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. This is a full-time position based in their Melbourne office. Hybrid working arrangements are available to support a healthy work-life balance. This role offers the opportunity for progression to Principal for the right candidate who will be working with a dedicated junior lawyer as support to manage their case load as well as assisting with business development to build a personal profile and being actively involved in client relationships. You Will Manage a varied caseload including commercial, taxation, property, insolvency and corporations disputes. Work closely with other teams within the firm, together with senior and junior members of the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team on large and complex legal matters. Represent clients in courts, tribunals, and mediations for interlocutory matters and hearings. Be responsible for a junior team member and lead and mentor junior lawyers and clerks, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Play an active role in business development, client relationship management, and building your professional profile. About You Hold 6–9+ years’ post-qualification experience in commercial dispute resolution and litigation. Have strong technical legal skills and strategic thinking with proven experience running files with minimal supervision. Be confident in advocacy, negotiation, and client engagement. Demonstrate leadership qualities and a genuine interest in mentoring others and in progressing to Principal within the firm.
