Salary $185,000-$195,000 + FIFO allowance + Super + Annual Bonus 4/3 Roster Mon- Thurs FIFO from Townsville or salary sacrifice from other East Coast Centres The Role We are looking for an individual who can manage, mentor and coordinate the Mining Team to achieve safety, environmental, cost and production objectives. Core Accountabilities Include Delivery of Zero Harm Accountable for the safe and efficient extraction of the phosphate rock reserve Supporting the management of the mining contractor Short to long term mine planning, scheduling and mine design Compilation of annual departmental budget Deliver continuous improvement What You’ll Bring Ideally we are looking to hear from people with a background in Mining or Civil Engineering. You would have previously led a small team or had leadership exposure in the mining environment. The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
