This career‑defining opportunity will drive transformation, uplift capability, and deliver public value in one of Australia’s largest local governments. Lead development and implementation of long‑term asset management strategies, policies, and processes. Drive continuous improvement and advance asset‑management maturity, providing high‑level advice to executive leadership and integrating asset planning with financial planning. Oversee lifecycle modelling, risk frameworks, and TOTEX planning for major infrastructure assets. Leverage technology and data analytics to inform decisions. Provide senior‑level asset‑management leadership and manage stakeholder relationships. Success requires senior‑level leadership, expertise in strategic planning and change management, strong financial and risk‑management capability, and exceptional stakeholder engagement. Supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally professional membership such as Engineers Australia and RPEQ registration. An empathetic, inspiring leader who empowers staff, builds strong relationships, asks the right questions, and demonstrates care and commitment to the organisation will excel in this role.
