The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. You will contribute to a variety of major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and commercial developments, while providing technical guidance in a range of structural materials for our junior team members. With offices Australia-wide, there is plenty of opportunity to collaborate across our multi-disciplinary teams. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Become a technical focal point and provide guidance for the structural team in Melbourne Apply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions Liaise with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutions Manage clients, prepare fee proposals, and tender documentation Provide technical guidance to junior team members What you bring: Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural design Deep experience in structural engineering design and already obtained Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher Strong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality Willingness to mentor and check technical documentation for junior members Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clients Why join us: Passionate Team: We're a friendly team passionate about our work.
