Profusion Group are currently recruiting for a seasoned CRO/Head of Credit Risk for a rapidly growing Financial Services firm focused on providing innovative solutions and maintaining a strong focus on risk management and regulatory strategy. Role Overview Define and embed the company's credit risk strategy and appetite while developing and maintaining the credit risk framework and policies. Provide independent oversight of all credit decisioning while serving as chair of the Credit Committee. Review, structure and approve complex credit proposals while guiding credit analysts and deal teams. Monitor the performance of the credit portfolio. Drive enhancements in risk modelling and stress testing. Build, mentor and lead a high performing credit risk team. Skills & Experience Have demonstrable experience assessing and structuring complex business lending transactions. Solid understanding of SME, mid market, and corporate credit risk. Ability to balance commercial acumen with good risk management. Excellent leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. In-depth understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks.
