I am currently recruiting for a Front End Loader Operator and Yard hands ready for a stable role with full-time hours in the essential Sydney waste industry. Applicant for this position must be willing to work over the Christmas period with only Public holidays off. We are recruiting for two separate roles for a national leader in waste and recycling, ensuring efficient operation and cleanliness at their transfer stations. As a Front End Loader Operator, you will be crucial to the daily flow of the transfer station, managing bulk materials and ensuring high standards of site cleanliness and customer service. As a Yard Hand you will communicate with the team via radio, direct traffic, tidy the yard and provide excellent customer service. Bonus if you also have a Forklift ticket. Locations & Shifts Monday to Friday Shifts between 7am and 6pm depending on requirements of the site. Plant Operator Rate: $43.86Occasional overtime opportunities are available. Key Responsibilities Efficiently manage, move, tidy and blend waste materials within the stockpile areas. Load and unload trucks and client vehicles as required. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all areas. Interact professionally with the team, drivers and clients dropping off waste, providing clear direction. Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and operational protocols. An induction will be performed on your first day and VOC of all Plant operators on site. Proven experience operating a Front End Loader in a stock pile, bulk materials or waste environment is highly preferred. Current, Front End Loader Licence/Ticket , Excavator (ideal) Commitment to a strong safety-first culture. Team player and self starter. Reliability and punctuality for early starts.
