As a vital team member, you will provide high‑quality, safe and efficient nursing support for urgent conditions that are not immediately life threatening. In collaboration with the Registered Nurses (RN), you will ensure all patients that present to the Urgent Care Service receive the appropriate care. Your Responsibilities Create a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinical environment; balance administrative responsibilities (40%) like Medicare billing, accurate coding, and documentation with hands‑on clinical work (60%). Be the friendly face patients rely on – greet them warmly and assist with appointment scheduling and registration. Work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional care for injuries and illnesses. Perform clinical care activities – history assessment, medication administration, wound care, plastering, and patient education. Maintain Professional Standards and Safety within scope of practice and ForHealth’s policies. Support patient guidance by making sound assessments of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Document with precision and care. Champion workplace health and safety by participating in safety initiatives and reporting incidents/hazards. About You Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Flexible and available evenings and weekends. Meet one of the following minimum experience levels: 3 years as a Primary Care/General practice nurse 2 years in an Emergency Department/similar setting 3 years in Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedics or similar acute care areas Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle escalations, collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Passion for patient‑centred care and personable approach.
