The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long life of mine. Responsibilities Facilitate risk assessments and conduct quality observations to enhance risk processes used in the field including SLAM’s and JSA’s. Support incident investigation activities and provide coaching on the investigation process to frontline supervisors as required. Provide support to the operational area and HST team with strong customer service to provide proactive solutions and to facilitate effective health and safety management and a positive safety culture. Conduct analysis of data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision‑making. Qualifications Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, or relevant qualification. Knowledge of contemporary Work Health and Safety Practices. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills with the ability to lead, persuade, negotiate, consult with, and provide advice on health and safety matters. The ideal candidate will thrive on identifying continuous business opportunities and demonstrate a high concern for the health and safety of others, maintaining a safe workplace by actively following safety systems and ensuring adherence to all company HSEC policies and legislative requirements.
