Visit our website to learn more. Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities On-site servicing & maintenance: 1. Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of peristaltic pumps, ensuring optimal performance. 2. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and operational issues with pumps on customer sites in both biopharm and industrial environments. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to pump systems, including issues with vfds, electronics, and electrical components. Repair & warranty claim processing: 1. Handle repair tasks in the service centre and on-site, managing warranty claims in accordance with company policies and guidelines. 2. Coordinate with the service team and customers to facilitate the timely and efficient repair or replacement of faulty equipment under warranty. Proactive maintenance proposal: 1. Identify opportunities for customers to benefit from ongoing maintenance contracts. 2. Propose tailored maintenance contracts to customers with sales team, ensuring long‑term customer relationships and consistent pump performance. Safety & compliance: 1. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safety‑conscious mindset at all times, both on‑site and in the service centre. 2. Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Technical expertise: 1. Provide technical advice and support to customers, resolving queries related to pump systems and operational issues. 2. Assist with troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical components, vfds, and control systems (e.g., profibus, rs485, etc.). Documentation & reporting: 1. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all on‑site visits, repairs, and maintenance activities. 2. Provide customers with post‑service reports, including maintenance recommendations, repair summaries, and technical guidance. Customer support & relationship management: 1. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and offering timely solutions. 2. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide service support as needed. Skills / Experience Experience: 1. Proven experience (3+ years) in servicing, repairing, and maintaining peristaltic pumps, ideally in Biopharm and/or Industrial environments. 2. Hands‑on experience with peristaltic pump systems, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair. 3. Strong understanding of electrical systems, electronics, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) control systems. Technical Skills: 1. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service equipment. 2. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, RS485, and other similar systems is a plus. 3. Solid understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, valves, and fluid handling equipment. Safety Awareness: 1. Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow established safety guidelines and best practices. 2. Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to both Biopharm and Industrial environments. Soft Skills: 1. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently. 2. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams. 3. Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple service requests. Travel Requirements: 1. Willingness to travel to customer sites for on‑site servicing, commissioning, and maintenance. Preferred: 1. Knowledge of Office365, Presentation skill, PLC programming and control systems is a bonus. 2. Experience working in regulated Biopharmaceutical environments is an advantage. Personal Attributes: 1.
