The company produces predominantly export metallurgical coal for steel making from the South Walker Creek open‑cut mine, located 35 kilometres west of Nebo in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. About the Role Reporting to the CHPP Processing Co‑ordinator and CHPP Operations Supervisors, you will be responsible for the safe execution and support of all operational ROM duties at our CHPP. In This Role You Will Operate dozers and loaders on the ROM stockpiles to ensure that coal is promoted to keep the CHPP feed rate above set point. This will require working around other machinery and managing the coal stockpiles within limits and to a safe standard. Identify, communicate and rectify hazards/risks associated with health, safety and the environment. Complete day and night shift 7 and 7 roster at the CHPP. Support production and maintenance tasks as required. Assist the CHPP team with other duties within the scope of training, skill and competence as required by the supervisor. Qualifications An impeccable work ethic and commitment to Stanmore values and safety. The ability to work in a multi‑skilled team environment. D1‑1 (or equivalent) licence. ROM stockpile and CHPP stockpile experience is a must, to manage stockpiles and interaction with other HME. A proven ability to meet production targets. Current RII competencies. A strong desire to learn and a high level of enthusiasm to develop a range of new skills. Ability to communicate effectively and share knowledge and information with and across teams.
