Residential Support Worker – Youth Justice Kalgoorlie, WA | Part-Time (40 hours per fortnight) Positions Available The Role As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll support young people on remand by creating a safe, stable and respectful home environment. You'll guide them through daily routines, encourage healthy choices, and help them meet bail conditions. When the residence is unoccupied, you'll shift into a community-based role—mentoring youth, building relationships, and promoting the service locally. Flexibility and readiness to return to residential duties at short notice are essential. What’s on Offer $38.65/hr + regional allowance + penalties (SCHADS Level 3) Part-Time (40 hours per fortnight) Salary packaging via AccessPay Health insurance discounts Free counselling for employees and families Ongoing training and development What You’ll Need Cert III in Community Services, Youth Work, or 1+ year relevant experience Experience with young people, including those with complex needs Strong communication and cultural awareness, especially with Aboriginal communities Practical skills: household tasks, documentation, and use of Microsoft Office A calm, resilient, and respectful approach Essential Requirements National Police Check (within 3 months) Working With Children Check Current driver’s licence & First Aid Certificate DOJ identity verification and full working rights in Australia Why HOPE?
