We are seeking an experienced Excel/HTML Developer to support the development and deployment of new tools for a government department. In this role, you will design, enhance, and implement tools that assist remote employment providers in making timely and accurate claims. The work will be delivered in two key phases: Updating an existing Microsoft Excel-based tool to ensure compliance with the latest policy and legislative changes. Converting the updated tool into an HTML-based format for broader accessibility and ease of use. Canberra based Australian Citizens with a Baseline Security Clearance are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements. Update and maintain existing Excel tools to ensure alignment with current policies and legislation. Develop and deploy new HTML-based tools to meet stakeholder and operational needs. Collaborate with agency ICT teams to ensure smooth deployment within tight timeframes. Work closely with policy teams to validate accuracy, usability, and compliance. Document technical processes to enable ongoing maintenance and BAU support. Skills and Experience Proven experience developing and maintaining tools in Microsoft Excel and HTML. Strong understanding of ISM controls and government compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions. Experience developing standard operating procedures and delivering training or documentation to support ongoing tool maintenance.
