You will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces from Ipswich to Logan. Responsibilities Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard Complete service requests as required Adhere to safety protocols and procedures Benefits Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish Competitive hourly rate Uniform and PPE supplied Ongoing safety training programs and resources available Frequent free team social events Career progression pathways Possibility of overtime in warmer months What we’re looking for Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting and zero turn mowing Valid Manual Drivers Licence White Card ACDC highly regarded Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually Be punctual and reliable Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards Our Team & Culture We embrace and celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
