Analyst Systems Be part of a group that is safety driven and values inclusion Permanent employment which includes a huge range of additional benefits Based at our state‑of‑the‑art remote operations centre near Perth airport with ad‑hoc site travel About the role We are seeking an Analyst Systems to support our PMO Control teams to make high value impactful and timely data‑driven decisions to reduce controller variability and achieve our path of best operator. You will focus on governance production performance and continuous improvement and integration of pit and plant systems best practice with the people interface. Reporting to the Superintendent Control Technical Services you will: Demonstrate the RTIO Leadership Competencies Engage with PMO Control and Mine leadership to provide proactive data analysis over a range of timeframes to show trends and provide insights for performance levers, leading practice team and business metrics controller strategies and improvement/productivity projects. Provide PMO Control leaders with analysis of process steps that contribute to operational discipline and reduced controller variability across mobile equipment control domains. Align the development of standards procedures and process that deliver best practice across PMO Control. Collaborate with teams to establish the key drivers for controller variability by validating and translating requirements for systems that provide information that supports coaching conversations, feedback and reporting over a range of timeframes. Support the Continuous Improvement programs and work with numerous stakeholders including OEMs to ensure business needs/objectives and the end users requirements are met when working with fleet management systems. Utilise project management skills to support the controller teams involvement with business projects/productivity initiatives. Design build and maintain reporting tools including on Power BI What you’ll bring Tertiary qualification in relevant STEM degree or similar Be experienced in Mine operations Load and Haul Plant and Drilling Query of data analysis and presentation of insight Strong in communication stakeholder engagement and in technical presentations A proactive approach to achieving team and individual goals A curious mindset with the ability to think strategically and analytically The ability to multi‑task within a busy work environment A current and valid Australian C class manual Drivers Licence A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team If this role excites you but you dont meet every requirement we still encourage you to apply. Where you’ll be working This role will be based out from our Perth Operations Centre with ad‑hoc site travel. Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth a state‑of‑the‑art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks trains and drills at our mines ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location. The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real‑time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible. Located near the Perth domestic airport the OC operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines rail and ports from 1500km away.
