Bottleshop Supervisor

Hibiscus Tavern is seeking an experienced Bottleshop 2IC to join our team in Leanyer NT 0812. This is a full-time role where you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our bustling Bottleshop. Your extensive knowledge of beverages and exceptional customer service skills will be instrumental in driving sales and enhancing the overall customer experience. What you'll be doing Supporting the Bottleshop Supervisor in managing the Bottleshop, and act in their capacity during leave Supervising and scheduling the Bottleshop team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of service Providing expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to maintain a well-stocked inventory Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner Adhering to liquor licensing regulations and maintaining a safe and compliant environment Assisting with promotional activities and merchandising to drive sales Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer queries or concerns What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar/bottleshop industry Extensive knowledge of beverage products, including wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic options Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate a team Proficient in cash handling and inventory management Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Familiarity with liquor licensing regulations and requirements Must be available to work Bottleshop hours over a 7 day roster, including peak trading periods What we offer At Hibiscus Tavern, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
