Oncology Outreach Clinical Nurse Consultant

Role The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Oncology Outreach acts as a specialist resource and clinical advisory role for the provision of comprehensive care to cancer patients and families within designated tumour streams : Neuro-oncology, Solid tumours, Leukaemia / Lymphoma and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) throughout the whole organisation in the after-hours. The CNC Oncology Outreach provides clinical leadership organisation wide supporting ward nursing colleagues in planning and managing clinical care of CCC patients, and providing education and mentoring to further develop their capabilities and competencies. Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Extensive experience in clinical oncology care, preferably paediatric Current chemotherapy administration competency Experience in quality and improvement projects To View Position Description please click Why work at the RCH?
