About the Opportunity Working closely with the Lifestyle team the Bus Driver is responsible for providing driving services for, and to ensure safe and comfortable transport of Residents to a range of local areas. Your day will involve driving the bus, helping residents of differing abilities on and off the bus, ensuring proper record keeping and logs for the bus and cleaning the bus as required. We are looking for someone who is a good problem solver, who uses initiative, and demonstrates good presentation and customer service at all times. About You A current Driver Certificate (Apply For Your Driver Accreditation | Safe Transport Victoria) Be able to pass a pre‑employment physical examination and medical history check Australian Work Rights Experience driving a bus is essential Experience in aged care or community work is preferable Safe driving record Free seasonal flu vaccination Availability and reliability to commit to required shifts Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff Strong passion for working with the elderly The Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and possibly complete a NDIS Worker Screen.
