Azure IoT/OT Developer (Full‑time, Permanent) WaterNSW – Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Azure IoT/OT Developer to join our team and help build a sustainable future for the state. Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to drive solution development from requirements gathering to project approval. Oversee the adoption of telemetry system standards and advise external engineers on compliance, security, and system integrity. Offer expert advice on assessing requirements and delivering Azure IoT/OT and telemetry solutions tailored to business needs. Apply innovative software development practices to enable effective problem solving, risk management, and compliance with commercial policies. Stay up to date with IoT/OT and telemetry technologies to ensure reliable, secure, and user‑friendly system implementation. What We Are Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or relevant industry qualifications. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in operational environments. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals and services, including IoT Hub, endpoints and device twins. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies to enhance reliability, usability and security of IoT solutions. High level of interpersonal, communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation. Current NSW driver’s licence.
