Job Title Senior Frontend Engineer – Australia (Traild) Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia About Traild Traild is a dynamic, fast‑growing SaaS company that streamlines, automates and protects Accounts Payable. We provide high‑level security for B2B payments, protecting clients from fraud, errors and mistakes, and integrate with ERP systems such as SYSPRO, Acumatica, MYOB, and IFS. The Role We are looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. You will lead front‑end development for customer‑facing features, ensuring high performance, usability, and accessibility. Key Responsibilities Develop scalable, maintainable front‑end components using Angular (with experience in React or Vue welcomed). Collaborate closely with designers, back‑end engineers, and product managers to deliver high‑quality features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, identifying and implementing improvements. Maintain and improve front‑end infrastructure, upholding best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation. Participate in design and code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Contribute to improving our development processes and tools. Qualifications 5+ years of front‑end development experience building complex web applications. Experience in Financial Services, Payments, or Fintech is preferred. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. Experience with RESTful APIs and front‑end build pipelines (Webpack, Babel, etc.). Familiarity with testing libraries (Jest, Cypress, etc.). Understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility. Experience with cloud‑native, microservices‑based architecture is a plus. Knowledge of design systems and keen attention to UI/UX detail. Customer‑centric mindset and passion for delivering great user experiences.
