Laboratory Technician – Downer, Somerton, VIC Overview We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Somerton team Downer plans, creates and sustains. As the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand, we work closely with customers to design, build and maintain assets, infrastructure and facilities. An immediate full‑time opportunity is available for a Laboratory Technician in our Somerton depot. You will conduct sample collection, quality‑control testing and control of asphalt, quarry aggregates and other raw materials to ensure all product and quality standards are met, satisfying both internal and external customer requirements. Responsibilities Conduct sample collection and quality‑control testing for asphalt, quarry aggregates and raw materials. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. Work night shift and weekends as required.
