About the role Critically analyse financial and non-financial information to understand business and industry drivers Following this analysis, undertaking business valuations and assessing economic loss claims Conduct additional real-time financial and economic research across a variety of businesses and industries, as required Analysis of large data sets and manipulation through the development of financial models Preparation of expert reports for use as evidence in Court proceedings and pre-litigation matters Communication with internal and external stakeholders, specifically those within the legal industry Excellent opportunity to build a career path within the forensic accounting industry. About you CA or CPA accreditation Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in either business and tax advisory, with exposure to business analysis, business valuations, and/or commercial litigation Strong business acumen, inquisitive mind and genuine passion for the work you do will see you highly rewarded for your contribution to our team An ability to think critically and analytically, with high attention to detail Strong research capability Well-developed verbal and written communication, conscious that much of our work is used as evidence in Court proceedingsExceptional time management skills which will assist you in meeting client deadlines, often dictated by the Court A strong willingness to share your knowledge with colleagues and our junior accountants Willingness to consider and proactively initiate further study and accreditation opportunities A continuous desire to learn and grow A self-motivation that sees you balance working autonomously and as part of a team.
