About the Company Our client is a privately owned investment organisation with a broad portfolio spanning property, construction and development assets. About the Role This position is responsible for managing end‑to‑end financial activities across several privately held entities within the group. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cash‑flow management and compliant practices across all areas of accounting. Key responsibilities include: Full‑function AP/AR management Monthly accounting processes including journals, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations Intercompany reconciliations and cost transfers Tracking and reporting on property income and expenditure BAS preparation and statutory compliance Preparation of monthly management accounts Assistance with external audit requirements Supporting senior executives with construction and development reporting Cash‑flow planning and ad‑hoc financial analysis About You CA/CPA qualification (or near completion) A background in public practice and commercial experience within construction, real estate or property Minimum 5+ years’ experience across financial and management accounting High integrity and a commitment to confidentiality Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisation Experience with MYOB or Xero (advantageous) What’s in it for You $110,000 + Super + discretionary bonus (approx. 10‑15%) Work closely with an impressive, supportive senior leadership team Gain exposure to a private investment portfolio with significant construction and property activity Stable, values‑driven environment with long‑term career potential Central Sydney location – vibrant, accessible and close to transport A role offering genuine ownership and scope to add value Interested?
