Join us to discover a purpose you can wrap your heart around Role Therapeutic Youth Worker Employment Type Casual Location Grafton As a Therapeutic Youth Worker you’ll be a key support for children and young people aged 12 to 17 years who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse or neglect. Some of the children and young people we care for may also have a disability or complex medical needs requiring specialised support including personal care. Our residential homes operate 24/7, so it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon sleepover and weekend shifts. Requirements A Diploma in Community Services or related field or enrolment in a Diploma or Degree. (Note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience) Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Australian Driver’s Licence. Willingness to assist with activities of daily living including personal care if required. Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
