Work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on a large-scale demolition project. Project overview: Our client provides services across building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental, etc. You will contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects with values ranging from $2.5m to $35m+. Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation. Responsibilities Working on tenders. Planning and scheduling of construction activities. Management of site project teams. Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management. Preparation of management reports. Resolving site issues in a timely manner. Liaising with key clients and stakeholders. Coordinating internal and external resources. Recruitment and mentoring of teams. Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. 7–15+ years of management experience on demolition projects. Project management qualifications will be advantageous. Proven understanding of construction with a hands‑on approach. Effective lead and delegate abilities. Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills. Manage client expectations. Excellent organisational & time‑management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eligibility: Experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager, extensive demolition experience, located in the Hunter Region NSW or willing to work from home (DIDO).
