Then hop on board we’ve saved you a seat People who care: our Social Support Group clients absolutely love their outings, and you could be the reason they’re smiling from pick‑up to drop‑off. We’re looking for: Volunteer Bus Drivers Bus Assistants What You’ll Do: Drive or assist on our community buses for local adventures Help elderly clients enjoy fun activities, day trips, and social programs Be the friendly face, the helping hand, and maybe the backup singer for a bus‑wide karaoke session When We Need You: We’re flexible and work with your availability. If you’ve got a friendly nature and a little spare time, we would love to have you aboard. You’re Perfect For This If You: Love meeting people and making them smile Hold a valid driver’s licence (for driving roles) Enjoy adding a bit of sparkle to someone’s day If you are ready to roll, call Jo , our Volunteer Engagement Advisor, on to find out more about this and other volunteer roles. People Who Care is a volunteer‑based not‑for‑profit that has been serving the community for over 40 years, helping the frail aged, people living with disabilities, and those rebuilding after hardship. Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work Companionship & Social Support, Driving & Transportation, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required We’re flexible and work with your availability. If you’ve got a friendly nature and a little spare time, we would love to have you aboard. Training Training provided as needed and we will assist you with the cost of your Police Clearance.
