Join to apply for the Solicitor, Corporate Real Estate role at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer We are seeking a Solicitor to join our award‑winning Band 1 Real Estate team in Brisbane working across a broad range of Corporate Real Estate matters. You will be working with industry‑leading and highly ranked Partners Luke Simpson, Julie Jankowski and Executive Counsel Katrina Swift as well as other partners and teams across the national Real Estate, Corporate, Planning and Projects practices. The team acts for a wide range of Australian and International clients including market‑leading investment managers, developers, investors, government agencies and real estate funds on some of the most significant real estate deals in Australia. What you'll do You will work on a diverse range of transactions, from single assets to multi‑jurisdictional portfolio deals and urban regeneration projects, across all real asset classes including commercial office, logistics, retail, build to rent, hotels & leisure, social and affordable housing, infrastructure and renewable energy. In addition, you will gain exposure to corporate real estate work, including structuring, establishment and ongoing management of real estate investment vehicles. Acknowledging that corporate structures form the basis of a large number of real estate transactions, this role will include a focus on the corporate elements of real estate practice. What you'll bring 2-5 years' experience as a lawyer. Demonstrable experience in a leading transactional real estate or corporate practice. Admission to practice in Australia or NZ, and a strong academic background. Sharp attention to detail and a practical, commercial mindset. An ability to manage competing deadlines and complex matters. Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working as part of a cohesive team.
